Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Qi? (Chi)

Qi is a combination of energies mixed together from the food we eat, the air we breathe, and our inherited bodily constitution .It is an intelligent energy system that maintains our health and balance. Everything we know of is made of and radiates energy!  Qi is the vital energy in all living things, which provides the power to accomplish everyday activities. It is necessary for the growth, development, movement, and overall regulation of the body, which includes bodily temperature and protection against illness and disease. Our health is influenced by the quality, quantity and balance of Qi. When Qi gathers, the physical body is formed, when Qi leaves, the body passes on.

What is the meridians?

Meridians are an invisible current, which Qi flows through energizing, nourishing, and supporting every cell, tissue, muscle, organ and gland. Meridians are like rivers inside the body. Where ever  a river flows  it carries water that provides nourishment and sustenance for life on our planet. Similarly, meridians are the rivers where Qi flows inside of us. Each meridian is connected to specific organs and glands.

Why people suffer from pain, disease and poor health?

Different stresses affect meridians and organs in different ways disrupting the flow of Qi.

A blockage in the meridians will restrict the supply of Qi required to nourish and support the cells, tissues, muscles, organs and glands. This blockage manifests into various signs and symptoms. Over time the entire body becomes weakened and its ability to heal itself becomes compromised. Eventually the body becomes susceptible to pain, disease, and poor health.
